As our wireless technologies are constantly evolving and winning multiple awards, with funding for the next phase secured, and commercial traction demonstrated, we are now looking to on-board a talented Product Assurance Engineer.

Key responsibilities:
- Define and implement product assurance and quality assurance plans tailored to specific space projects, including verification and validation plans.
- Ensure compliance with applicable space industry standards (e.g., ECSS standards) throughout project phases.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to product quality and reliability, implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Conduct internal and supplier audits, inspections, and reviews to verify adherence to quality procedures and product specifications.
- Lead the analysis and resolution of non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented, verified, and documented.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality assurance standards are met across the supply chain.
- Prepare and maintain detailed PA/QA documentation, including quality reports, audits, and product release certificates.
- Work closely with project managers, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to integrate - PA/QA best practices throughout the product lifecycle.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record of working on space projects, with familiarity in applying ECSS standards.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and practices within the space domain.
- Experience with non-conformance management, corrective action implementation, and quality assurance processes in space projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and present information clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience in supply chain quality assurance and working with subcontractors in the space industry is an asset.
- Familiarity with lightweight and composite structures quality assurance within the context of space missions is an asset.
- Experience in risk management and tools is an asset.
- Certifications or training in ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant quality standards is an asset.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
