As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be the sole point of contact for all IT infrastructure-related matters within our company. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our IT systems, ensuring their optimal performance and security. This position requires a hands-on approach, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently to meet the unique IT needs of our startup. In addition to that, you will take the lead in planning, executing, and delivering IT projects that align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Install, configure, and monitor hardware, software, and network components to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect the company's IT systems and data from unauthorized access and threats.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure proper security and data integrity.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance tasks to optimize efficiency and prevent issues.
- Collaborate with external vendors to source and procure IT equipment, software, and services as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and enhancements to the IT infrastructure.
- Create and maintain documentation, including system configurations, user guides, and IT policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to employees, ensuring they can effectively utilize IT systems and tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure in a small to medium-sized company or startup environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, including servers, networks, and storage solutions.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network components.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and basic understanding of virtualization technologies.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
